Our Divine Service is a time when God serves us with His gifts of Word and Sacrament. When you arrive, you will be warmly welcomed at the door. Our worship follows a traditional, historic liturgy that has nourished Christians for centuries, typically lasting around 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, followed by fellowship.The service includes congregational hymn singing, prayers, Scripture readings, and a sermon applying God's Law and Gospel to daily life. The central focus of our worship is Holy Communion, where Christ is truly present to give us His Body and Blood for the forgiveness of sins.There is no pressure to know the liturgy or to participate in every part right away. We are glad you are here, and you are welcome to simply sit, listen, and receive the comfort God's Word provides. After the service, we warmly invite you to stay for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.

Not at all. Everyone is welcome here to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. We invite you to come and find rest in Him, just as Jesus promised:"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 NIVHe also assures us that His sheep listen to His voice and follow Him, and He gives them eternal life, guaranteeing that no one will snatch them out of His hand (John 10:27-28). He came for sinners and desires a genuine, loving relationship with you.

The Divine Service is a foretaste of heaven. It is not about what we do for God, but what God does for us by gathering us together to rest in His presence. God assures us that wherever two or three are gathered in His name, He is with them (Matthew 18:20). The heart of our Divine Service is the Word of God. He knows the depths of our sinful nature, yet while we were still sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Therefore, in the Divine Service, God Himself serves us with His forgiveness and delivers His peace to renew and strengthen our faith.

Lutheran Mission Australia practices closed communion, confessing that in Holy Communion (also called the Eucharist or The Lord’s Supper), we receive the true Body and Blood of our Risen Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.If you are baptised, share this confession with us, and are a member of a church in altar fellowship with Lutheran Mission Australia, we warmly invite you to receive the Lord’s Supper with us.If you are visiting for the first time, have not yet been instructed in this faith, or are at all unsure, please speak with our Pastor before or after the service. Please refrain from receiving Communion until you have had the opportunity to speak with our Pastor.You are always very welcome to come forward during Communion to receive a spoken blessing, or to remain in prayerful reflection in your pew.Gluten-free bread is available upon request.

Yes, please do! Children are an important part of our church family. Please don't worry if your child gets restless. We believe that what truly matters is that your family is here to worship with us. We also offer Sunday School, where children can learn and grow in their faith and understanding of God's love alongside their peers.

We want you to feel comfortable when you worship with us. While some people may dress up, most of our attendees dress pretty casually while still being modest. The main thing we want you to know is that you are welcome here no matter what you wear. We can't wait to see you and have you worship with us.

No, absolutely not. As our guest, there is no expectation or obligation for you to contribute to the offering. The Divine Service is our gift to you, where God serves us with His grace and peace. Please come as you are to receive the Good News that Jesus offers to all, free of charge. Any financial gifts given by our members are simply a free-will response offering to support the ongoing work of the ministry.

The simplest way to connect is to stay after our Sunday Divine Service for tea, coffee, and fellowship. It is a relaxed, friendly time to meet our Pastor and congregation.  We would love to meet you and welcome you to our Church.
